Bear and I are just sitting here at the Chiang Mai International Airport waiting for our flight to Luang Probang. Once again, you need to check in two hours in advance on an international flights. We'll be flying on the ATR-72 operated by Laos Airlines, so wish us luck.
I'm still waiting on my Vietnam visa approval, so should have ample time to explore Luang Probang. It has been declared a cultural heritage site by the Laos government, so it should have some intersting sites to visit.
